Tell us about your role at Wood
I joined wood, initially as a graduate oil & gas engineer working on mechanical design of offshore pipelines. After three years performing pipelines design for concept, pre-FEED and FEED projects, I decided to move into project engineering. It’s been a year and a half since a became a senior project engineer. My current role has allowed me to broaden my multi-disciplinary knowledge and expertise and being involved in the coordination and delivery of complex projects.
When you reflect on your career at Wood what makes you most proud?
Acting as a key part of teams which successfully delivered concept selection, pre-FEED and FEED projects for various customers. Winning the Thames Valley Project Management Challenge 2017 (APM - Association for Project Management) on behalf of Wood. Chairing the Reading Diversity and Inclusion committee and organising multiple events including charity fundraising events, INWED activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
